The 26th release on Downstream Records is by Servent titled “Artifacts of Life” It is the first album release on Downstream Records for six years.
The work of label owner Damon under the guise of Servent, it explores the evocative side of electronica juxtaposing jagged digital artifacts with deeper soundscapes to produce a blend of music that might be termed “atmosphonica”! Incorporating elements from tech through to spatial, Servent draws from his past fragmenting and refracting sounds that lie beneath a veil of digital noise.
Artifacts of Life is a reflection that does not always represent the reflected.
